Who we are

Somatic Growth is a nervous-system practice app. This policy explains what personal data we collect, why we collect it, and what rights you have. Questions? Write to somaticgrowth@gmail.com.

What we collect

• Account data — your email address and display name.
• Practice data — journal entries, body-map notes, completed practices, streaks, and reminder preferences you create in the app.
• Billing data — subscription status and billing period. Card details are handled entirely by Stripe; we never see or store them.
• Technical data — basic log data needed to keep the service secure and working.

Why we use it

To give you an account, sync your practice across devices, deliver the reminders you ask for, process your subscription, and provide support. We do not sell your data and we do not use it for advertising.

Sensitive content

Journal entries and body-map notes may contain personal reflections about your health and emotional state. They are stored in your private account and are only visible to you. Staff do not read them except where you explicitly ask us to help with a technical issue.

Who processes your data

• Supabase — database, authentication, and file storage.
• Stripe — payment processing and subscription billing.

These providers act as processors on our behalf and are bound by their own data-protection commitments.

How long we keep it

We keep your data while your account exists. When you delete your account in Account → Delete account, your profile, journal, progress, body map, and reminders are permanently deleted. Billing records may be retained by Stripe where legally required.

Your rights

You can access, correct, export, or delete your data at any time. Most of this is available directly in the app; for anything else, email somaticgrowth@gmail.com and we will respond within 30 days. If you are in the EU/EEA or Switzerland you also have the right to lodge a complaint with your data-protection authority.

Changes

If we make a material change to this policy we will update the date above and notify you in the app or by email.
